Ruminations Of A Restless Consciousness

-I think its comical as hell when one walks in on their manager, their assistant, and a peer, talking about how hot one is, specifically how nice of an ass one has.

-Akita puppies will apparently eat anything. Babygirl's diet consists of pine straw, crickets, Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy Food, spiders, rawhide, grass, sticks, leaves, Berber carpet, toilet paper, rocks, Milkbone Puppy Treats, and any type of shoe she can get her mouth on.

-FOF likes me. She let it slip in email today that she talked to her family this weekend about me. I feel all warm and fuzzy. Of course, it could be the Petrone.

-Speaking of FOF, I have the perfect restaurant for tomorrow night's date, and I'm thinking of a certain jazz club afterward, but I'm open to ideas for the after dinner festivities.

I think you mean Patrón. I was like, huh? then figured out it was te-killya.

Your puppy's got a mad oral fixation. Just be glad it's not an anal fixation.

Tell us more about the place for dinner! Ethnic? Live music?

Siryn - I believe I was thinking of petroleum...yes, that's it. Petroleum. Mmmmm.

So dinner is this amazing Thai place...honestly, its the best I've ever eaten, and I've had an awful lot of Thai. Afterwards, there are two places I'm thinking. Both are jazz clubs. One has a band, the other has an open mic, which could also be fun (hearing/seeing the amatuer flavor). Haven't decided which one.

Steve - That's a fantastic book, and I recommend everyone read it.

Ok. Talking about good restaurant sure gets me going. Ever been to NYC's Monsoon? Amazing Thai...no live music though- that you'll have to find someplace else...I doubt this is a problem in NYC though.

Thanks for your comment on dateology, by the way- very encouraging...:) Much in line with my thinking process: honesty, communication, directness...it's just not always so easy with “you people" (read: guys).

Yours truly,

I haven't been to Monsoon, however, it is one of the few restaurants that I've heard about in NYC.

As for us people, I happen to agree. We are a proud race, but very stubborn. And somewhat assholish.
